About Me
Beulah Tokunbo was born to a God-fearing, middle-class devout couple: Godwin Ayodele(a descent of Lagos) and his wife Florence Abebi Johnson, who before their untimely deathon 28 July 1977,instilled in him strong values of faith, humility, and service. Having being orphaned just before turning 12 years old, Beulah suffered untold penury, deprivations and loss of many years of education.
However, his life witnessed a major transformation the momenthe gave his heart to Christ Jesus; receiving Him as his personal Lord and Savior on 15th January 1985, a few months just after his 19th birthday. His early leadership qualities would emerge later during his time as General Secretary of the Christian Union Fellowship at the Polytechnic Ibadan, where he laid the foundation for his lifelong dedication to Kingdom service.
Beulah’s educational has spanned Mass Communications,Software Engineering and Theology ; which achievements reflect his commitment to excellence and equipping himself for impactful ministry and societal engagement.
Since answering the call to ministry in 1987 at the age of 22, Beulah Tokunbo Johnson has devoted all his adult life to preaching, teaching the message of the Kingdom of God; developing and mentoring other believers.
As the Senior Elder of The Capstone(Church Without Walls), a governmental territorial kingdom community in Yaba, Lagos, he has pioneered a dynamic and inclusive approach to ministry, emphasizing relational Christianity and practical faith. Under his leadership, the church has grown into a thriving community that empowers believers to integrate their faith into every aspect of life.
Beulah’s teachings are renowned for their depth and practicality, inspiring spiritual growth, personal transformation, and societal impact. To further demonstrate his dedication to addressing contemporary issues through a Christian lens, he hassome literary works such titles as: Life Out of the Box (2006), a book which explores the intersection of faith and the marketplace. Other titles are ‘A Tale of Two Mothers (2025), a book that provides guidelines to godly, Spirit-led parenting, ’The Impact of Western Music on Youth Lifestyle: An Exploratory Study on Nigerian Universities’ (Nov.2009) and ’Making Life, Make Sense’ (2025).
He is also a fashion culturist and owns a cloth label named @aquila_by_beulahtoks(Instagram)
Beulah is a passionate mentor who has profoundly impacted countless lives through his ministries and programs, which includeshis Video Blogging, his weekly business advisoryprogram ‘Vision Clinic’,a ministry leadership development initiative City-Gate School of Ministry (click here),among others.
Vlogging on all social medias: @beulahtoks, he continues to empower emerging leaders, strengthen families, and equip believers to fulfill their divine callings. His heart for connecting with people across diverse backgrounds makes him a most beloved church leader and role model.
Beyond ministry, Beulah has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at addressing poverty, education, and healthcare. Since 2010,his Information TechnologyTraining School (Megalios-iT), has provided IT boot camps for teenagers, trained individuals in database administration and web development, and supported businesses in establishing a digital presence all in the efforts to bridge the digital divide between Africa and the rest of the developed world.
He is both a Trustee member and donor to Whitefield Foundation ,a high-reputed not-for-profit that uses educational sponsorship and empowerment as a tool for social transformation.
A Family Blessed By God
Beulah is married to the amiable Olufunmilola Ayoola Johnson, a philanthropist, minister of the gospel and visionary leader.Together, they are blessed with three very cerebral children and a most adorable, energetic granddaughter.
Their home exemplifies faith, love, and encouragement, and Beulah’s ability to balance his roles as Church Leader,Husband, Father, and Grandfather highlights his disciplined and purpose-driven life.
